I Meditated 15 Minutes Every Day for 30+ Days — The Results Were Surprising
No, I didn’t attain enlightenment, but much has changed
Despite meditation being the rage everywhere, most don’t consistently practice it — I doubt even the screaming self-help gurus do.
Our hyper-stimulated world is to blame—we can’t even take a dump without thumbing through our phones. More alarming? We check our phones 160 times a day on average.
“All of humanity’s problems stem from man’s inability to sit quietly in a room alone.”
— Blaise Pascal
At the core of meditation is doing nothing — sitting in silence, listening to your mind, and letting your thoughts flow freely.
But having failed in my first few attempts, I had sidelined meditation with the “It’s spiritual hogwash anyway” excuse.
But when I stumbled across research that proved meditation physically altered the brain?
I had to give it a solid shot. And after much strife; I settled into a rhythm.
While there were rare days when I missed, there were also days where I pulled 30+ minute stretches.
And boy! Were the results shocking.
